my mother has called, and our chats include her descriptions of the practically tropical, almost 80 degree weather she's been enjoying. Normally I feel that all that warmth would just kill my Christmas buzz, but right now I'd take it.

My best friend's family's plane to Hawaii was cancelled (Spokane airport was wholly shut down). I couldn't be happier to have no plans to go anywhere this year. It is the year for nesting in the holidays! I'm not leaving the house. I will have to post some pix, but currently I can't see ANYTHING outside.

Sunny, I am so thankful also that I haven't had to drive! I stocked up on groceries and we've been hanging out baking cookies! Stay warm!
