She called him over to her, and I am not kidding you - it looked like he swam right up to her and said "hi". Maybe she has her grandmother's magic ability to communicate with these creatures.
We had to make a visit to the belugas again on the way out, and I honestly didn't think she would move from this spot.

Thanks! I loved how it turned out - it looks like she is petting him and giving him a kiss, even though there is a thick wall of glass between them!
